Question for anyone with this case already..., have any of you had trouble with PSU cable length, particularly with the 20+4 pin cable? I'm getting a Corsair 750TX and want to route the cables behind the mobo first like in some of the pics here, just wondering if I'll need a few extensions. The 750TX's 20+4 pin is 58cm long. I think its plenty long, just kind of hard to judge from pictures.

Should be fine. I haven't installed my MB yet but I don't see any problems with it. The case does come with a 4+4 ATX power extension for routing it behind the MB tray.

Axis is right, you should not have any issues at all. My PSU has about a 65cm 24pin power cable and there is plenty of slack left behind after it's all hooked up to the mobo.

    another one........

How is the airflow between the hard drives?
Hope there is spAce between them for good flow..... they are more distant than in the CM690 I have, like that.

And I was thinking it was just a taller CM690..... aieiuaehaiuehaiuehaie My mistake, GREAT case!!!!!!!!!!

well I'd say the the HAF-932 is a close relative of the CM690, same type of design overall, just better.

the front intake design on both cases seem to bother many people, and yes they do "block" the fan airflow however for a quiet machine you're only going to use low rpm fans anyway so it will be perfect in providing HDD cooling.

The side fan will provide the bulk of the case airflow and cooling, and a quiet fan will work great here because its so close to the hot zone so volume won't be important.
I guess this is why CM decided to place the VGA side fan as default rather than any top exhausts in the CM690.

There was already discussion in the CM690 thread about the design but its perfectly adequate, I have 4 drives in this CM690 and the temps are well below safe operational temps (55-65C max, my drives are 35-45C depending on room temp, and this is only using a 5V YL SL fan)

I have full confidence in the HAF932 for cooling my HDDs, hopefully I can get my hands on the case late next week, fingers crossed

To answer the cable length question, yes the 750 will reach.

I just finished building my buddy a new system. Case was great to work with, very easy to install. Nice ventilation, a lot of custom possibilities. Overall I'd say the best case anywhere near this price bracket. Not as well built (quality wise) as the cm 830's but also a lot less expensive. CM did a great job on thinking of what enthusiasts would like in a case.

Anyway here are the pics, sorry had to snap them quick before he ran off with it.

overclocked q9550@3.613ghz that loads at 50-60c (65 highest in stress tests). 4870 1gb is overclocked to 790/970 and with the fan at 50% it loads at 50-60c as well.

Overall a great case for the money with a lot of options. Also wire management was a snap compared to my 830 se.

The HDDs are spaced further apart on the 932 and has a bigger/higher CFM fan in front of it so it's safe to say the cooling is better. As lucky posted, the airflow around the HDD's of the 690 is very good too. I have 3 in mine and all of them stay below 45C. When I got my 932, I was thinking they could have easily managed another HDD slot in there, if they wanted to. I'll buy bigger drives before I use all 5 slots but I hear of some of these folks running 6+ HDDs.

Haven't run mine yet but they are rated at 19db which is dead quiet. Even if they are off a bit, they're still bound to be VERY quiet.

Looks awesome w/ black insides. Nice work. I would love this case, but my wife would kill me if I put something that big on our desk. What is the dual setup you are running?

Yeah its a great case, honestly, it has every feature you can ask for in a case. Dual PSU, Water cooling ready, good air cooling, full atx motherboards like skulltrail, what else can you ask for?
