im interested to see how well the 2x2gb gskill do on overclocking. im thinking of getting a pair myself but i would want them to be able to do at least 2000mhz with reasonable timings and volts.

I changed the ram to my E8600 and at 1680 MHz, it ran at stock 7-7-7-18 1.9V settings.Originally Posted by fitseries3

set your RAS to RAS delay to 8-10 or even more.
the 5 is faulty default taken over from ASUS' DDR2 boards. OCZ, Mushkin and Corsair state that at least 8 or 10 are neccessary, depending on your type of RAM and current clock. The higher, the more cycles you need.
