funny that is, i was looking at that board last night and trying to convince myself not to spend more money on my pc. how are the bios settings in these? eaiser than a DFI x48. as i think im in over my head, just too many settings for somebody who really dosnt have time to play with them all. i did have my q6600 at 3.6 stable on this board but the q9650 really dosnt like anything i throw at it.

WaterFlex - its about time quads do high fsb aswell..

terroristone - x38/x48 are the worst chipsets.. unless you ln2 the chipset to hell youre not gonna get much out of it.. theyre more suitable for unlocked cpus..

youre best bet are the p35/p45 mobos and are the fastest

cadaveca - thanks.. lol 2.0vtt ? yikes.. still got some headroom ~2.0vtt..

WaterFlex - if water i wouldve stated so.. its the very same ifx14/fans cooling.. nothing changed.. just raised vcore and a bit of vtt.. you can see the temps going higher

guys, is there a better cooler available right now than the ifx14? im waiting on the copper true.. but whats the best out there right now

I don't care to pay attention much to air cooling...now, if you can get 545 FSB...you MUST be able to get 525-530 stable...WTF.

Napalm, you have to be the luckiest guy I know, go buy some lottery tickets. Amazing FSB you are getting on a quad, regardless if it is air, water or LN. Just amazing. If I were you I would sell that chip for a couple of grand. I am sure you would get it. Can someone please confirm that they can hit 500FSB with a quad?

    Thanks,

Currently the Foxconn ELA board is available and has 16x16 and 8x8x8 crossfire w/ p45 chipset, in the coming weeks we should see the Foxconn P45 Avenger which will be ddr3, and 16x16 and 8x8x8 CF and will be quantum force (I will get this one for sure , anyone wanna buy my ram and DFI x38???)
