I'm already budgeting for electricity and tuning my engines. I just hope the power grid can keep up with my demand.

Now I'm a wee bit confused on how teams are kept track of. Do we create new accounts just for this or what? I didnt fallow the last race close enough I guess so I'm lost.

That hot "office tart" that was flirting with him must have dumped him because he wasn't high enough up the food chain. You came back from vacation a little early didn't ya boss?

yeah, she decided I was a little fish...
rebaited and moved in on DAK's boss, the regional VP....

the next day I got my vacation recalled,
    my window office revoked,
took my quad and gtx280's away,
gave me an old pentium laptop, and said get to work.

currently I'm sitting indian style in the corner next to a phone on the floor.
    what happened?

GD gold diggers!!! They always leave with more than they came in with! Hopefully you'll be able to finagle some better equipment from DAK in time for the next race.

DAK: I'm a firm believer in the "no snitch rule" except when it comes to my own advancement. Shhhhh! This is just between us okay? That only happened because the "Tart" saw the window office and the hardware. She was all over Mike and I can't blame him for taking advantage of the situation. To avoid repercussions, Mike opened the adjoining door to your offices and... well... you know the rest. It didn't come from me though. I'll deny everything.

    Now you KNOW I'M IN!!

I think the boss should take it easy on Mike. After all, hard work/hard play. I mean, just look at the dept of interior employees! Now there's some hard-working, hard-playin' folks!

DAK: WFO, Thanks for keeping me 'in tune' with what's really going on around here...How bout a nice window office?
WFO: Well thanks DAK, let me think about it for awhile, I don't want the rest of my work unit to think I am a brown noser ya know...
    Almost 30 seconds go by...
WFO: Ok Boss, I'll take it...BTW, could you get MikeB12 back into a cubicle with a chair?
DAK: I'll mull it over...I know damn well some kind of shannagins were happening while I was gone and I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS...

This should be fun. Lets try to get the teams larger than last time.

Any word on Road-Runner if he'll join us this time?
It sounds like fun, however I am not folding until they can get a linux client that I do not have to babysit. I dont know why they cant figure it out. SMP 5 and 6 worked fine while in beta, seems they could go back and look at those that worked fine and find the differences, however that would again require them to get out from behind the desk and up off there butts and out the chair so I know that is not happening...

RR> I got it running under VMServer...no babysitting....I put VMServer under windows and loaded the Linux O/S on it. It worked fine...I've since changed over to Vista64 on that rig...
