are those toxic single slot 3870s or the other cheaper one ?

Both of them are the SAPPHIRE HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E Dual Slot Fansink.. NO Toxic....I have went into the BIOS and changed the Gen2 High Speed Mode to Autonomous Switch and also changed the Slot power limit to 200 default was 75...did this to both cards

Its a must for Overclocking Heeehe ,, my 3870x2 uses all 255when @945//1100.. max air...

Maybe then I should give them more Volts and just might be lucky and get that 2nd place in 3dmark06 last time was set GPU's set @840/1296...lets try for more..Yes on air also...dammm there spinning now both at 80%

well I didn't beat my highest score that had 2 3870's and a 9850. But this is one HD4850 and My 9950...When I get a PSU that will run and actually power both 4850's..I will post that score. I have a 580w that should be able to..I might do that tonight.

I B' Keein my last 3870 for a lil while longer ..If you lived close..I MIGHT, let you borrow it for a trial run..but that might put you on the top of the list.. And harder for me to beat LOL... On the 4850 question.. were you asking what power connector has in pin count..it is 6..

I hope to be ordering a new SB750 board soon so I shall be giving this setup one last one to see if I can top my score, since you guys are getting so clase and all. Just installed the 8.9 drivers so maybe this weekend.

Well Ben i be taking a real hard run at your score come end of next week i have 3850 number 4 by then (it in the mail) and we see what happens PS. you still using 2 power supply to run your rig ?

I moved everything on to a M3A78-T yesterday

POS board can bearly run at stock without locking up

So I guess I'll spend part of the day trying to get it stable

SM 2.0 Score = 6881 Marks
SM 3.0 Score = 8100 Marks
CPU Score = 4686 Marks

Hi guys weekend up-date when back to 8.8 drivers so i could take my class lead back again 16,895 made me number 1 again on approved drivers by ORB (Phenom 3850 class) forth 3850 should be here in 2 more days. I think the 4 GPU set-up may work in is 3dmark-06 other than that i think the 3 GPU set-up will play game better. But there only one way to find out and that by doing it so we see. I told my self if i was going to try it i had to have a macthing HIS 3850 (256) card, found one on sell so i when for it why i still could get a maching card .

I ordered the ASUS one yesterday. It just seemed like the DFI board was not a high end enough board, but I hope someone gets it I would like to see how well it does.
