Johnny would prolly be the best candidate for that as he is the vmod guru round here. I'm trying to find a vdram mod myself. but it's a definate pita
anyone have the actual resistors for the vcore mod or pics of the vcore mod? seriously .5 jumps are a little rediculouse and on a wolfdale that could be thediff between the safe zone and non safe zone for water and air cooling.
philbrown23, measure resistance FB->GND and multiply it with 20x, so You now which VR to useI'll do the mod in next few days and report back.

looks like I need to get my soldering iron out... LN2 on the tpower soon for me...
I am also very interested in the vMCH mod if there is one.

Ceemic you get the mod done yet? when I X the measurement by 20 I get 56kohms so looks like a 100kohm resistor
philbrown23, if so, I'd recommend 50k VR. It has "smoother" end. You need to adjust 100k too far and can't adjust Vcore so well...
I haven't had time yet (yesterday I moded a HD4850); probably I'll do it on Friday and report ASAP.

Can someone confirm that Vcore mod?

I can't atm look, which PWM pin it's connected with.
philbrown23, maybe You have time to do the quick measurement? I'd like to know the resistance from that point to GND. Thanks!
Macro from that place: http://ceemic.pri.ee/hardware/tpower/tpower20.JPG

measurement from that point to ground= 44.6kohms I think it'd connected to the same pwn but iunno
EDIT: I CAN confirm that pencil mod, it actually works better than the other one in the beggining of this thread, before I still had .1 vdroop now I have a mere .003 vdroop![]()

~45kohm? Have You disconnected all stuff, including CPU, from board?
This resistance should be around 5-10kohm, so 50-100k VR would work.

well I mis typed the resistance was 4.46kohm not 44.6 rofl, I was in a hurry, cuz I had to head to work. but yeah just under 5kohm
Then 50k should work. Is that point directly connected to FB pin or which?

DiscoTech, I'm talking about hard-mod. I don't ever use pencil mods![]()
