    fairly easy dave.

And they do get warm, but i have an 80mm fan on it, and it keeps it in check.

Your right about sammy's tho. They never need restarting unless it does it because of updates. I totally forget i have her up sometimes.

Dave Natsuki is up. Im gona get slaughtered by you and CD. SpeedStep is on, i forgot to disable it.

Im gonna see if i can pull in 450, but i just found out this P5Q-DLX hates my crucial tracers, and 80% of my ram is D9's.

Well im taking the best of 2 rigs anyhow. Any idea if a 780i can last though 1 month of WCG?
    Nadeshiko: i7 990 12GB DDR3 eVGA Classified *In Testing... Jealous? *
    Miyuki: W3580 6GB DDR3 P6T-Dlx
    Lind: Dual Gainestown 3.07
Sammy: Dual Yonah Sossoman cheerleader. *Sammy-> Lind.*

[12:37] skinnee: quit helping me procrastinate block reviews, you asshat. :p
[12:38] Naekuh: i love watching u get the firing squad on XS
Its my fault.. and no im not sorry about it either.

Four nice pretty Intel Sossaman boards.
Now I've just decided that since our good friend Mr.Martijn is known as Mr. Boardburner that I should only send three and keep his for extensive testing.
Say 2-3 months should do it!

Dave, you do realize that Jaco hasn't got my telephone number either and that we aren't in the phone books right?

Oh and how were you supposed to do extensive testing without CPUs? Want do borrow one or two?

Not true, these are 479 and essentially Yonah laptop chips..VERY different.

    Now for my morning;
I just went to pick up the HS.
    I got 10 of them.
The first time I was there getting HS the lady that runs the place wasn't there.
She was today and asked what boards we used these in.
I told her where we got them and at what price and she says hold on a sec then comes back with one of the boards in her hands..
From now on we get them from her. $20.00 and no shipping.
She also wants to know about cpu's as she may have them available also and I told her about us getting them at $42.00 a pair so this may play out well.

OH, the board she brought out to show me, she said "keep it"
When she left I handed the $20 to her husband and told him to tell her to use it for lunch.

All in all a very good morning!

No, the mobo would've cost $20, but he got it for free

    The HSs were $10 each.

EDIT: my math is failing on me, that's indeed $20 for the sinks.

She also has the boards for $20.00 each and thats equal to what Centrix sells them for except from her I can pick them up and NO SHIPPING CHARGES!
38 miles round trip from my house..

I've PMd some people and told them than i'm not gonna take those sossamans after all.
There is quite reasonable explanation: My dual clovertown build needs an mobo, mem and second waterblock. And those things cost wayyy more than this sossaman build would cost but since i don't have an job or rich parents, I'd rather get my everyday comp working (yes the dual clover one) and then think about getting other crunchers.
    That's all.

    My best guess is this:
Motherboard: Grab from Centrix for $28.66 shipped to you as they are close to you in Calif.
HS: $20.00 plus shipping($5.00-6.00) from me to you.
CPU's: From Martijn; App $75.00 and shipping($15-20 I'd guess from Belgium to Calif with cheap shipping)
backplates: $2.95 plus shipping from performance PC's($app $8.00 total)
    Total of app $158.00..

I should add that the machine also runs MJ12 24/7 at high levels and that does cut into the cpu usage..

so, roughly 1000 BOINC PPD, only 100w draw for $200. $200 for board, chipset sinks (I think those were the sinks you were talking about) and CPU's.
