    @Ace-a-Rue
    I have usually left ...
    MCH GTL Ref on: Auto
    CPU PLL: 1.5v
    On Core 1 and Core 2 GTL Ref... I like 63/63 VTT but I've also used the default 63/67 and I've tried 67/63.

    @Solarfall
    I've tried with FSB Fine Tune and DDR2 Enahanced Mode both on and off and I've experimented with more relaxed tREAD and I've tried all four RCOMPS. They also don't like to run high with stock fsb(333) tight or loose Bsel and the various higher memory speed dividers at stock voltages or even with additional voltage on chipset, cpu and ram.

    I'll keep trying... I've not tried taking MCH GTL off of auto and besides my DFI LanParty Jr. won't arrive for another day or so. That being said I can always put back in the OCZ Reaper PC2-9200 and run DDR2-1150 and with some extra voltage even DDR2-1200.

    To check your memory settings in windows download a program called "memset" and it will show you everything.

    *EDIT* Here you go, LINK

    i am not sure board warping is an universal across the spectrum problem for every user...

    Tried it again but lower this time around and it would only post from 100-106 after 106 no post. Let me know if yours reacts the same.

    my above post with an "EDIT" showed 105 mhz was the max...you showed 107 was a no post...probably depends on hardware and then the bios is way out of tune like a piano...the bios definitely needs more tuning!

    What strap are you using? Same problem here with my cellshock Red passion.
    I have to set 1066 strap in 1:1 and ram at 4-4-4-12.
    Maybe you could try to see if those settings will work fine even for you!

    Hi folks,
    UPS just delivered my I45 I bought on spur of the moment during a fit of hating my P5Q-E...

    Before I open this thing up I have a few questions:

    Is it a poor choice for audio creation and light video editing?

    I have an E8400 E0 (high VID but clocks well) and a decent E7200 that does 3.8-4.0 pretty easily on the ASUS - should I try the E7200 first considering the 'giant' Vcore adjustament increments on I45?

    I got an ok deal on it, but a P5Q-Deluxe is not too much more money and the Biostar 1yr warranty scares me. Am i just being paranoid here?

    Will my TRUE 120 mounted vertically fit ok in an Antec P182SE?

    Thanks!
    My 'all air' boxes...

    This is great. Can someone translate the pencil vdroop mod completely?

    The vdroop pencil mod shown here is different from the one posted on the xtrememods thread. This one shows the same resistor as the spot for a vcore mod.

    If available, can someone tell the correct resistors for pencil mods for vcore and vdroop?

    i am up to 565 FSB with my E8500...that is going to be it since my memory is only rated to DDR-1142...i can Wprime and that is the one which matters to me since i do not do any games.

    my previous high with the same E8500 was 520 FSB, which was Prime 95 stable for one hour.
