This is one sweet looking block and a great idea to take advantage of the nice heatpipe system on the Maximus II. I will definitely be replacing my MCW30 with one of these.

Now if someone would come out with a Mosfet block to replace the left Mosfet block on the heatpipe that would be icing on the cake.

SigFever got a MCW30 on his NB, but about SB, I do not know about

But I can tell you that you need these blocks for a fully EK watercooled Rampage formula:
    NB: EK-NB S-MAX/EK-NB/SB5
    SB: EK-NB/SB ASUS 4
    Mosfet: 2x EK-Mosfet ASUS 3a
    Hope this will help ya

It will only be a couple of days wait longer, as the stores that ship internationally have them arriving soon, going by what Gabe said.

gabe can i get a request?

Can we get a MCW35 that uses an old apogee or apogeeGT base? I absolutely love this base when it comes to low restriction.

The MCW30 is kinda outdated, and i would really love an upgrade.

Any hope in dreaming for something like this?

It will be less than 3-4 weeks. That is just our default "ETA" for Swiftech products. I have them on order as well, but only a couple. They should be here in a weekish.

this is designed as a replacement for the stock Fusion block that mounts to the stock heat pipe assembly, not as a direct contact block like the MCW30. i don't believe the mount holes are going to match up to the X48 mount holes to be used as a direct contact block based on the fact that it is going to be designed to mount to the heat pipe assembly holes which are way off the X48 mount holes. So this isnt a MCW30 revision? Its just a one off block for a specific board?

Glad I read this now, I almost made a mistake.

Any chance a MCW30 revision is in the works? Or is it safe for me to order one without an update coming out in a week or 2?

    Thanx for confirming this.

I thought that was the case just by the look of it. I am gathering the pieces for my WC build now and was torn between getting chipset blocks or using the stock arrangement. I'll be following this piece the next few weeks before commiting.

i am not 100% on this but based on the Swiftech site and the design, it says...

"The MCW-NBMAX is a North Bridge waterblock designed in collaboration with the Asus® Corporation as an alternative to their "Fusion" waterblock. "

    and...

"The MCW-NBMAX is compatible with the Asus Maximus II formula, and the Rampage Extreme; it is also expected to be compatible with upcoming high-end Asus motherboards that will feature the Fusion water-block in removable version."

since both of those boards share the same heat pipe assembly and it basically says it just replaces the Fusion block, i think it is safe to say. that, and like i said, the mounting holes for where this goes on the stock heat pipe assembly are 90 degrees out for the X48 mounting holes. Gabe can confirm but they are pretty clear on their web site.

i would love an MCW30 update as well but would settle for a set of mounting brackets that fit the wider X48 holes as the ones i have now don't reach.

Well I was under the impression that it was an update to the mcw30, since last I heard of this block was a teaser shot in the apogee gtz thread after people asked about an updated mcw30 and mcw60.
