    @ HONDAGUY ,,

For me to run simalar speed wise in Everest i have to use 16x 214 = 3424//Nb2600//ram 1140mhz..

Whew there are so many things to tweak ,,Volts HT Ram CPU multis ,,I think it comes down to (How good the IMC/NB does MHZ wise)

IMC/Nb has a relationship that really likes PC8500//1066+ ram for optimal speeds while allowing HIGH NB..

Ive used many PC6400//800mhz sticks in this thing Crucials//Kinstong HyperX//Patriot//Corsairs all at 800-900mhz and the performance was always so so with high latency even @ using 4-4-4-13 1T/2T Lat/timing..

PC8500//1066 really lets these run in the wild,, even if a person chooses to only run @1066mhz max ..Id love to see these run with DDR3 Low latency @1333mhz 7-7-7-18 hahaaa..Ram is the only thing so far that i can find to Hold B3 back Latency wise...

    Nice ,,
Do Becarefull with NB above 2680+ if your thinkin of it.

Funny i Said 2700 is the Max ,,it pretty much is..I can NOT go more than NB@2717.

    ATM CPU @3432mhz//NB2704mhz//Ram @1108mhz...
This is the Highest i can get Ram and NB stable @ the same time.

Ouch Below looks good but crapperd out ,,Raising Volts didnt help on this one .Truely the NB Limit on My Rig!

    Caution
    NB2717+ = Repair Windows Config

I tried Using Higher HTT but once i went over230/240htt the NB@2680 would crash. I had to figure out what HTT ran best below 220HTT to get NB @2700mhz with my ram @1100mhz .

P.S. Dont ask why i tried this,,cuz i dont know either,, EHhehee J/K

I had something odd happene to me a little bit ago

I did a super pi with stock core speeds on my 9850, only changed the hypertranport ran SpuerPI

    1000mhz Hypertransport 30 seconds on 1mb

at 2000mhz it was 36 seconds on 1mb

I though it was kind of odd.

    Haha nice ,,

17x multi is fun sometimes..Also in My sig (hard to read) but @13.5 x with medium HT is smooth too

Even though some x.5 multi's dont work as good as full multi's ,Im happy with it.

I am amused by by my memory running 1T@800 ATM,, I finally convinced it to Run Cas4 @ 1t with 2600nb

After much tweaking , i managed to pull 4-4-4-18 -1T. Interesting is my fastest SuperPi run is with 1150mhz Ram @5-5-5-15 2T .Now that i have tried all there is to try i gave 1T one more shot with CPU 3450mhz/2600+nb

Funny 800 vs 1150 .. for gaming i think the Lower latency of Cas4 will be better for FPS..but then again 1150 5-5-5-15 speeds everything up too.. then i did both the runs below and Superpi says i Run almost the same speed maxed with 800mhz-1T vs 1150mhz-2T

Phenom has really confused me the last week of tweaking.. Just when im shure something wont work ..BaaaAM it frickin works and better than i expected too..I could not get 1T to work above 2400NB Ever..Only the MEMORY and L3 slightly differ.. So the One thats the Highest 1150mhz is best for Apps/multi tasking and the 1T tight timing will help with games FPS and response..Ive Noticed that 1T does seem faster @ gaming vs High MHZ Ram unless the High MHZ ram has tight timing,,its crazy

drop you HTT down to 1000mhz and run superPI with those diff two ram settings.

I have feeling high HT isn't doing much.

Ill try some runs with lower HT 1T and 2T once i have my New Bios dialed in a little More.

I am trying New817MOD Bios C1e support and are More HT/HTT stable with High Ram Performance..

Thanks to POLYGON ,, TA770 Bioses and the NEW 790GX/GX3 Bioses.

Ill post Bios changes FOR TA770 AM2//SE+ . 612/714 to the 817bios New in mY TA770 thread.

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/....php?p=3155486

    NOTE:
like to keep thread More so about tweaking Phenom for Max Performance// Voltage used for Chipsets and CPU. These tweaks apply to almost any Mobo..

Once i get a GX/FX with sb750 then the $hit will hit the Fan..

If anything SB750 will allow me HIGHERVOLTAGE and Higher TDP with new PowerPhase.Means i can really Torture things Nicely.

    Hahha,,
Im seeing more 3.3+Ghz Phenoms lately with out SB750

Bummer ..The GX3 is thier flagship ATM..seen some of the Plainjane GX have Corrupted Bios,, Has to do with VideoDisplaying.

The FoxyCon should be fun...beside ACC settings ..the CPU/NB and SB/NB will clock simalar . With ACC it should lower the overall Voltage used to get that Nice Oc tooo.

WOW all i can Say is WOW

    This is so fricking

When i Flashed my New 817mod bios this is Only my Second oc attemp ..

The Vcore is real BIOSTAR ADDED C1E software support(i believe controls power states for AOD) But i dont use AOD period..Well all i know is before this Bios my PWMS used to run Hot @ 1.62volts and would scream murder..

@ 1.66v Amazing PWM's not HOT when touching heatsinks or nor do they Scream TURN ME OFF ... Im so fricken amazed right now .I am afraid to prime for the First timeOn second though i may not prime until this runs for a day or so just to see if it shuts down on its own before i try

EDIT: PRIME MAKEs THEM SCREEM ......Oh well its still my Max CPU/NB im not cmplaining.. End of Month ill have to get a MOBO that handle 1.66v+ for 3.55/3.6ghz at least with this chip anyway.

Go slow with prime when raising the Volts...Once im over 1.61v mobo PWM's cant handle prime ,,
Although my CPU keeps chuggy the pwm's start cooking bacon Sizzzle,,SiZZZlE ,, ...

Run Heavy Games or something to get CPU to 75% 80% on all four cores .. Sometimes Prime is too much for the PWM's..At least it is on SB600 mobos..The Power Department is where MOST MOBO's still need help with 140watt chips USING HIGH VOLTAGE

I just got my Gigabyte MA790GP-DS4H back from RMA. I also bought another Phenom..Yes 9950. I just put everything back together.. I hit 3.3 with the 9850.. Hope to do good.. I have it under water and a fan cooling the PWM.

If you think PWM's are getting a little warmer than you like ..Use some MX-2 on them with stock heatsink..Does work pretty good and i keep small fan over them just in case anyway..More is some times better when it come to cooling

My TA was naked stock now she's really cool and im hot.

The Giga-byte has pretty good cooling actually, I just thought, I have a fan, I might as well use it.. cooler is better. Here is my XP Win 64bit highest OC.

I have pretty much made up my mind on this board for my BE 5400+ until I get around to a X4 or AM3 . Please I have not seen anywhere in this thread about what memory to use. I've got stuck with the bad single sided ballistics. Ok memory for what it is so using it elsewhere.

Well, I am using OCZ Reaper crossfire edition 1066mhz 2x 1GB.

Sounds good to me. I never had problems with OCZ. How will the 2 x 2 works or would I be better with 4 x 1s? This ballistic I got has turned out to be a mistak. I will be happy with getting this 5400+ BE stable at 3.4. Going to be a HTPC when I move on to AM3+.
