i knowwww, but the dd 4870 is the one i really want, its $130 and ill need 2 so its pretty much a 3rd cards worth in cooling....

Well, I can certainly understand that, but if you're going to keep the cards for a year or two, it may be worth it. You can always recoup come of your money later when you upgrade by selling the parts on Ebay.
