That is a nice idea. Any word on the NB block for the Asus Maximus II Formula board's heat pipe system?

Sorry, I overlooked it in his post. This is very good news, I am bleeding my loops as I type and temporarily using my MCW30 on the NB heat pipe.It will fit but not perfect without drilling or Dremeling the right bracket's hole.

The key advantage of this solution is specifically to take advantage of the low housing cost (inj. molded).

oh, and one more thing: no aluminum in contact with coolant. sorry I forgot to mention this detail.
That sounds great Gabe very innovative

    wow, really great design gabe.
The fittings must point up or they can be turned 90o so the loop would not interfere with fans mounted on the case side panel?

When will we start seeing them online in the US? Will the modular ram/mosfet portion be sold seperately?

Lastly, are there plans to continue this sort of modularity with the MCW60 with future video cards?

Why bother? It works, and works well. My 4870 under load doesn't hit 50C and that is in the same loop with my q6600 @ 3.2GHz at full load. Not bad at all. I think they updated it recently with a finer pin array, like how they did from the apogee to the apogee GT.
