Ya but like I said, who wants 1,9V on a Harpertown except for LN2 benches

Hell, even 1,6V is way too much for crunching use. Congratz on winning the auction tho
What did you buy, CPUs, mem, board too?

    Adam,

That's most probably because the cpu is running 333FSB.
If you want the ram to run at 800Mhz , you'll have to overclock the cpu to 400FSB.

What does cpuZ say about the memory ? I bet it says 800Mhz 5-5-5-18
    Are these 4GB sticks?

The Z7S currently only has a 1:1 divider for FSBram. So like Jaco said, you have to overclock your CPUs to FSB400 if you want to run the mem at 800Mhz.
If they can't handle the extra Mhz, you can lower your multiplier by 0,5. Higher FSB is beneficial on a dual S771 anyways.

Are you using FSB1066 CPUs on the mobo, like older Clovertowns? Must be, but even then SPD should show 400Mhz capability...
FSB option is found unter "advanced features" --> "clockgen settings" or something. Just set it to manual and increase gradually.

Hi, i back with news, not good news, as the shop technical say it cos of ram,
4Gb ram in one module is unable run properly after test, we replace with 2Gb x 4 module = 8Gb is okay and runing at 667mhz, okay that all i have in this moment.

Looks amazing Are these blocks custom made? I don't recognize any of them.
Looks really slick, apart from the plug and cool fittings.. those really suck IMO.

Oh and where the hell did you get that Asus ram fan?

Hell yes that is SMEXY. I love the chunky pins in the waterblocks and the board looks positively sveldt without all the Asus coolers on it. Nice work.

The fan is called 'ASUS MEMCool' and its 13.59€ on Amazon (at least here in Germany). The only thing you have to do is change the fan itself. A small EBM Papst fan like the Papst 612 F/2L will do proper RAM cooling without the noise of the original Delta fan (2000rpm vs. 6500rpm)...
