is the problem well known then? when i turn on my pc in the morning from a cold boot, i get 3/4 bsods within 5/10 mins
reinstalled vista twice, and tried 3 different versions on matrix drivers.
its not my overclock as it does it with everything default
I wonder if its worth an rma, no doubt having to pay for the postage to send it back to me as there were "no faults"

This is an old problem and easily solved.
Your ram is NOT compatible with the board.
The only Crucial ram compatable is PC 5400, swap your ram out and I'll bet the problem is gone.
Possibly???
It has a direct influence on stability so does CPU PLL
wrong gtl's and the chip is very hard to stabilize
leave everything alone but the multi, drop it to 7x450 and see if it boots, this will eliminate a FSB wall
Post back with your results
