The funny thing here is, you guys talk about it being a bad thing in CPU-land...I work in Flash, hot carrier injection is the primary mode for NOR Flash operation, and FNT is the primary mode for NAND flash operation....they are good things for us, lol....

It is the same idea behind using SOI's floating body to make Z-RAM, take a negative and turn into a positive.

Yep... this one is a conceptual/philosophical thought process.

    Maybe Dave knew Jesus?
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

I just graduated with 4 degrees (one in engineering) and I have now idea what they are talking about. Other than PE, CPA is in my name though so that doesn't help me at all.

I am getting so excited about Nehalem. The CPA side of me is saying "do not spend $3,500+ on a computer". But the PE (professional Engineer) side is saying "build the greatest machine you can".
