I love the 0308. By the time i get my E8400 E0 stepping chip they'll be 2 more bios releases
Hmmm might give it a go in that case... aalthough saying that 407 + 266 strap = stupid voltages - like less than the stock which is always nice - now if I can just workout how to get the RAM going on the tighter settings and lower mhz ratings then I'll be laughing. So far it only likes to boot with the 2nd options...

Hey man, just write the settings down on a piece of paper, flash to the 0408 and see what happens. Its not an all-day project so its nice to just test stuff.
If the 0408 doesnt help, go straight back to 0407 and do what your doing now.

    400 * 10 + 266 strap works fine.
    450 * 8 + 266 DID work on 308 E6750...
    500 * 8 + 333 worked with my E6750 @ 907/308 but not tested yet because I've not got that far yet

Will try some settings again tonight on 408 and see how it goes

Running 537 mhz here with following settings:

    DRAM Static Read Control: Auto
    Ai Clock Twister : Auto
    Transaction Booster : Manual

    Common Performance Level [9]

    CPU Voltage : 1.45
    CPU PLL Voltage : 1.50

    DDR2 Channel A REF Voltage : AUTO
    DDR2 Channel B REF Voltage : AUTO
DDR2 Controller REF Voltage : AUTO
    SB 1.5V Voltage : 1.5

This is my 24/7 setting and is 100% stable. Running with bios 0308 atm since it gives most bandwith and is just as stable as bios 0403 i ran before. Will maybe give bios 0408 a try and compare benchmark with 0308

Si señor, you have to reinstall some of the drivers, but not necessary from Asus, and all depends on what hardware do you have installed.

You'll need to install the intel chipset drivers, which will cover one lan I believe. The CD will cover the sound card and the other lan. The install CD doesn't quite have the lastest chipset driver but it will get u up and running. You'll also need drivers for your video card.

Your sig show's you running at 3.8GHz so just drop your FSB till you hit 3.6GHz, should be easy to do.

Dont know why but systems with Nvidia cards always does better cpu score

For example my 8800GTX with my old QX6700 @ 3.8Ghz I have more ~430 cpu points than you...

Go to C:\Progam Files (x86)\OpenAL and run the OALInst as administrator to install it.

    This should work
