now i just need to get my ram back from rma to verify this.
    Not only OCZ.
I have corsair TW3x4g1333c9dhx (which is on the QVL)
I'm still running into deep waters....aka BSODs, freezes, etc, etc.
Flashed 1303 BIOS linked by Kensek.
Already tried litterally tons of different settings (see my posts), no way out to get a stable system, even not OC the system.
It's 3 weeks I'm loosing my time after this failure.
It could be a faulty mobo, dunno...cause everyone seems to have problems with 1600Mhz...I just want to run my RAM at its normal speed (well..in the beginning...)
    Really thinking to RMA it
Any specific setting advise to test is welcomed.
    Thanks

    post your rig.
seems most people can easily run at 1333mhz.
If you really don't like tweaking and really really want to oc your ram, it might be worth rmaing this for an x48 chipset.

Really don't tested it yet...cause I'm not able to run the system at default....when I'll get that (if ever), then I'll start to speed some stuff up.

when i had the ram voltage read by multimeter i noticed some wierd spikes...like up to 3v to the ram when rebooting.
now this could have been a multimeter issue or something but i thought it worth mentioning.
    anyone else seeing this?

CRAZY INSIDE........ how are you getting such high ram clocks on a board that hates running ram over Spec'ed speeds/timings? i saw your settings but it doesnt make sense that mine will run well over 2000mhz on any other ddr3 board but not 1mhz over 1600mhz(crucial rated speed) without having problems on the P5Q3.

what it is is that we all got bad boards and his is the only one that works right, thats the only way I can explain it. I've been mercifully trudging through these bios and have yet to get higher than 450fsb in fact its really pissing me off! I have literrally tried upping my volts right up to 1.6v cpu and tweaking other volts and settings and I have 8 pages of settings that just will not work WTF.

I have done 570 on mine here, its not voltage is wacky ram dividers and tRD settings you have to watch.
Got a problem with your OCZ product....?

I have the next best thing here... 620MHz FSB "memtest86+" stable with 2 different dividers ( 50 loops test#5 ) and I can't even get into Windows... even 600MHz FSB is a no-go.
I've tested 10 E8600's and 15 E8500's on it and never got a single one of them higher than 575MHz +/- 10MHz, only the newest E8600 did 595MHz FSB, and the "weird" 620MHz FSB described in the sentence above.

yeah hopefully mine will get sold I'ma just write off as a bad buy and move on, I dont think bios can fix this board. I can do 500-515fsb X7 and 8 but I would like hose speeds at 9.5 or at least 9 but no go.

Played with my P5Q3 Deluxe today.

I Installed XP Pro w SP3 onto my P5Q3 Dlx with Bios version 1303 lat night.

It had Vista Ultimate 32-bit on it for the past 10 weeks but it couldn't break Super Pi 1M in 10 seconds unless I pushed the CPU to 10 x 500 (5.0 GHz).

And that's too much on great air I feel.

So here are my fun screen shots with XP Pro and running on Air.

As you can see my 2 x 1GB Super Talent DDR3-1800 CL7 Ram can run up to 1960 at CL7 with 2.0v.

    I luv this RAM.

My best fsb on this board so far is 650, but after 630 it's to unstable for cpu-z to stay open (silly mem settings, need to try more combo's)

    This is at 626 http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=404468

wow, I'ma refer the guy I sold it to to this thread, maybe I just could not wrap my head around the bios enough. But hell maybe he will get skyrocket fsb's on it, either way he got a hell of a deal on the board only cost him $180.00 usd shipped, I paid $250 for it, used it about 4-5 days then packed it back up. my son got ahold of the needle nosed pliers one day and squeezed a few of the fins on the NB sink but nothing major, he said he was trying to help me fix it,lol.

I bought the board about 3 weeks and i don't see anything enrolled in the board as new rev. the times I also have difficulty in pulling for the memoirs but later I get without problems I use the slot orange of the board is where I get better results with the memoirs.... as the bios is necessary to have attention to an or two settings that make the difference.

    sorry for my bad engish
