    Gigabyte EP45 Bandwidth 1333+ PL4

    Gigabyte EP45 Bandwidth 1333+ PL4

Gigabyte's upcoming beta bios for EP45 serial
has improved DDr2 bandwidth to DDR2-1333 and higher.

tip: load optimized,in MIT select divider of 4A(266A) or 4B(333B)
change vid to match your porcessor or leave it auto then, leave bios
if your D9GMH or D9GKX not stable or need to improving latency by PL
add more voltage both on Northbridge(MCH) & DDR2 voltage.

    i'll update other bios soon.
for GA-EP45 DS3R, DL this bets bios F9L

Thanks for showing PL4 actually is possible on a P45 chipset, it just ain't happening on any Asus board i've seen so far.

Can you run PL4 with 4:5 divider also?

    tRD rule:

    tRD-(CLS / memory ratio) = A
FSB strap / memory ratio =B

Is A>B if yes then board will boot

    tRD =4
    CLS 5
    Memory ratio 1
    FSB strap 2.75 for 600fsb

4-(5/1) has to be greater than 2.75/1
-1 is not greater than 2.75

So im wondering how P45 is even booting at 600fsb TRD 4 cas5 1:1?

Am i missing something here, did Intel add something we do not know about?

    TRD 4
    CLS 5
    memory ratio 2
    FSB strap 1.25

    333fsb 1:2 ram ratio so 2x333 for 667 or 1333

    4-(5/2)=1.5 A
    1.25/3=0.625 B

is A>B yup so 333fsb TRD 4, 1:2 ram ratio for 1333 would work.

I just don't see 600fsb 1200 ram TRD4 cas5 working unless P45 changes the rules. Im not dissing here, i want to know what has changed?

Did i do the math wrong?
