hmmm that graph sortof reminds me of pepsi vs coca cola for some reason lol
Nice performance but yet still no release date? Btw I'm still debating whethere I should grab 2 of these or stick with my stock cooler. Don't get me wrong, the stock cooler on HD4870 is still a good one, 51 idle at 40% fan speed ain't bad is it? I think if you put 2x90mm fan on the T-rad then what the noise level will be like.![]()

They need to release a T-rad2 Extreme - able to perfectly fit 2x120mm fans
btw you can fit 120mm fans on the HR-03 with stock clips

To be totally fair with the HR03-GT, they should have tested it with 2x92 and 1x120 as well ...

Yeah, HR-03 GT's a great performer when it's given enough airflow to dissipate the heat that it accumulates.
And how does it fare against Accelero S1?
^^was about to mention it too. this has nothing on Accelero S1.
IMO, the real test of any cooler is when the core is overclocked. I have seen in the past a Thermaltake DuOrb kick butt at stock speeds then then get completely overwhelmed when a moderate overclock is applied.
For all we know the T-Rad will get its butt kicked by an overclocked RV770. Not likely but still...
vGPU mod + 900+ MHz for core and then we can draw conclusions.![]()

Why they don't include 280/260 compatibility, we'll never know..

Here's something I design which could be a solution to VRM cooling:
I've sent them a mail about this, hope they take it serious, cause even T-rad 2 needs it.![]()

Intel's atom is a terrible chip.
that looks like a modded HR-11. In fact, if you get an HR-11, heat the pipes; that would allow the plate to bend backwards so it would contact the Vrams and disapate the heat upwards. only problem is how to keep it on.

nice performance but something tells me they did not crank up the fan speed on the stock cooler
with fan just at 40% on 4870 overclocked my card idles at 46C and load no more then 60C
people who plan to volt mod will love this cooler, otherwise i say dont waste your money if your case has proper airflow

I'm so sick of guys with theories based on the color of the sky, when I talk out of experience. I already have a HD 4850 which is properly cooled. Well the GPU is properly cooled, cause the VRM can't take an OC with those RAM Sinks.
Even guys with Watercooling have similar problems, cause that WC doesn't apply on VRM area, only the GPU gets cooled. Here's others with similar problems:

Oh, yeah I see you own a BFG 9600GT OC, yet you contradict with my opinions as a HD 4850 user..
lols
+ one though on VRM's on my 4870 ran furmark etc about 10 mins ago :/ ambients about 19 i think the vrm went up to 106*C!!!!!!!
thats with S1 + 2 fans ontop and also a FAT 120mm 38mm? tfan blowing acorss the vrm's also from the side! just madness
hot hot hot
gogo ZIP TIES + electrical insulating tape me thinks :P
