    err the CSX are out of stock....have to wait for bout 1 week :O
    but I thought bout the S2E since it seems to work fine now...maybe I should get the duality rear panel for my MM Ascension, think they should be fine together as long as the Ati and the Nvidia cards do not kill each other

    I tried to get my system to boot at 10x450 but.... No go. I had my Vcore all the way up to 1.54375 and it still wouldn't post. I'm kinda sad.

    What NB, VTT and PLL voltages have you set in that attempt?

    1.65 NB, VTT was 1.3 and PLL was 1.6. It bugs me too, I'm on water and I've read threads about people getting 4500 mhz on air. Either I have a dud processor or there is still some instability from the motherboard

    Well first let me tell you that iīm no expert, but i really have spent thousands of hours tweaking this board.

    Fisrt is seems to me that your NB voltage is a bit high...
    Iīm ROCK STABLE with my QX 450x8.5 linked ans sinked with 4GB and only 1,48 on the NB!
    Please try this settings:

    NB - 1,54v
    PLL - 1,56v
    VTT - 1,32v
    Vcore - ..... Put this setting at you own description... (but no lower than 1.5v)

    EDIT: What are your GTL refs?

    Still blue screen before I even load vista. 1.5 Vcore. I have the GTL ref's set at zero right now.

    Are you able to post with 10x multiplier with your rig the way it is otherwise?

    Hi i happend to notice your problem. Iīve got the SIIE but i use the QX9770. Perhaps the settings can be of some help.

    CPU multi x10
    FSB @1800
    Mem timings 7-6-6-16 CR1 Corsair XMS3 CM3X1024-1800C7DHX

    Voltages in BIOS:

    PLL Auto
    VTT 1,3
    NB 1,68
    SB 1,55

    GTL ref 0 -36mV
    GTL ref 1 -32mV
    GTL ref 2 -32mV
    GTL ref 3 -36mV
    Voltages according to Everest Ultimate (not so accurate i know) se attachment.
    Hope this can be of some help.

    Hi Guys!

    Is the disc corruption issue solved yet on these boards? Thinking about getting one so it would be nice to know that all my drives wont die when I use it ; )

    You will have no problems if using later BIOS like 901.

    You guys have to keep in mind, like Bench said one day, the NB loves to be as cold as possible.
    Also, I dont know how much this helps, but I would try SB at 1.6v. I remember reading one day that the last trick to get those last Mhz on a 680i was to increase the SB voltage.

    Im just trying to help

    I tried all of the above settings and it blue screens every time before going into vista. I should also mention I am using the fusion block to cool the motherboard, temps are very cool. NB is 42C CPU 27C

    Fusion,
    Do you have LLC enabled?
    Its just very odd that you cant boot on multi x10. Perhaps if you tried to lower the FSB speed? Or rather what is your current FSB speed?
    Hmm.. iīm starting to run out of ideas.....And you where on BIOS 0901?

    I have LLC enabled, It wont boot at 9.5 without LLC. I tried lowering my fsb and moving it up slowly and I couldnt get past 1760 at 10x. Highest I could boot just to get into windows was 4300. I am on 0901 bios. I also tried 1600 fsb and bumped the multiplier up to try to hit 4.5ghz but that was a no go as well. Its so wierd that im prime stable at 9x with 1.475 but that extra 450 mhz wont happen. even at 1.5375 Vcore. I'm afraid to go any higher.

    I tore down my system to do some maintenance on my water loop, and I'm adding two DTEC GPU blocks to my video cards, so I wont have it all back together until tomorow night for some more attempts. Maybe a new CPU is in the cards for this fall. Too bad I cant swap my CPU out for another QX9650. I had hoped I had a decent overclocker but it looks like I'm stuck.

    Any help would be much, much appreciated guys. Basically after all this time I'm still having the same issue.
    Right now, I'm on BIOS 1002. For sometime I had it pretty stable, orthos, for more than 3 hours, no problems with these settings

    Vcore= 1.58750
    LLC=Enabled
    PLL=1.5
    VTT=1.4
    Mem=1.8
    NB=1.5
    SB=1.6

    Suddenly, that wasn't good anymore. Won't get over 20 minutes of torture without stopping the test or BSOD "machine check exception"

    Now, I somehow get it running with these settings, for an hour tops.

    Vcore= 1.58750
    LLC=Enabled
    PLL=1.56
    VTT=1.36
    Mem=1.8
    NB=1.54
    SB=1.6

    GTLref0 -32
    GTLref1 -29
    NBgtl -20

    I think the trick is on the GTL volt settings, but i don't have a clue what would be correct for my X6800 C2D to get it stable at 3.77Ghz.

    So guys, once again, any tip, advice, would be awesome.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Sorry, these are my components

    I need your help to get my system 100%rock solid.
    I'm going crazy trying to pull 3.77Ghz or more out of my Conroe Core 2 Duo X6800 Extreme Edition.
    I finally got my S2E last thursday and i can't get it running stable at those speeds.
    The default multiplier is 11 for the X6800. So I currently have it at 1371Mhz FSB, I gotta a pair of Corsairs TWIN3X2048-1600C7DHX running at 1600Mhz (7-7-7-20 1T)
    Current Vcore is 1.5825 which to me is pretty darn hi, I've been around forums and I see guys pulling out 4Ghz with much less voltage
    Forgot to mention that i got it all running on water.
    Again, any help, will be great.

    Fisrt i woldnīt put negative GTL on NB. Where you have -20 change to +20.
    Also i dont think you need all that NB voltage sei it to 1,50V.
    One more thing... run scandisk and see if it find any errors on your hard drive...

    Hi Magic! thx a lot for your reply. I'll try that right now.
    Regarding the scandisk, yeah I run it already. I do it offen after random BSOD's when testing.

    Thx again

    A month ago I was doing death ocs with my CPU 2.v lol, but I shut down and ran stock for about 3 hours. The next day it gave me the CPU INIT error code on the mohterboard LCD. I pulled the battery and notting would help getting it off that error. I let it set for 2 weeks and it came back alive and went past that error code.

    Then I setup water on my video cards only to have a bad leak on the motherboard while it was on. It would not start at all after that happend. I cleaned it up with achole, and it still had the same problem about not turning on. I let it set for a week and it started doing the CPU INIT problem again. So I gave it another week(last night was the end)and now I'm on the problems listed below.

    OK here is what it is doing

    Last night when it came back on, it would turn off the monitor after 15 secs. It also would not boot(I'm 90% sure) after that happend.

    This would happen in the preboot screen or in bios.

    It will not boot past -10c. It will give me the CPU INIT error code.
    When it's warming back up right before it will start it hangs on DRAM, or Vram(I think) test I'm gussing the CPU is frozen still. Tried to start the phase at least 10 times with it.

    If I go into bios and hit f10 save and exit the machine will hang on PCI-INIT

    BUt after I got off the phone with wile(gave me 30 mins of down time with messing with it) it did boot into windows, but I had to shut it down because my phase was not on.

    Does anyone think that this is a CPU problem?

    I have tried a different video card, and different DDR3 with using 1 slot as well.

    Wile is sending out a E6700 to test with, but I'm wondering if I need to start saving for a new board.

    Your memory is rated to work at what voltage?
    Have you tried to run Memtest for 2 or 3 pass and see if your memory is error free?
