"A tidy worker is a happy worker..."

I sorted out all ma' shizzle today. Im normally a 'fairly' clean worker, but having bits and bobs in various bowls and tubs was slowing down my allready rather slow productivity...

    So..:

A bought myself a box. Yes, a box.

And spend all an hour or so sorting through screws and washers until I could do no more!

Oh Yar... I Also de-sleeved all of the AC Ryan Backfire 120mm Kameleon fans... fun.

For this update, I've gone for thumbnails.... I can't show enough detail @ 800x640... its just not fair!

So, Cobalt V8 time ladies... soo spankly and new and lovelly... I set about designing the sidepanel which I'll get cut when I'm back in the shop in about 10 days or so...

Its basically 1x 5mm of clear which is the case sructure, 1 piece of solid chromed metal (would either be ACRyan HexX or MNPCTech Modders Mesh that I'd get chromed) and then a 3mm green piece over the top... I know its not symetrical, but thats sorta the point...

AS work and SAT's practise have slowed down progress alot.. Only a little update. I've finally got the front and rear panels sorta finished. The front will have the holes for an Aquacomputer Aquaero, while the rear with the obligitory motherboard holes, and a slot-loading Laptop drive 'slit'.

As always, these renders are done using Anti-Alias, Shadows and a simple White-Gray background.

    Front Panel

    Rear Panel

Hopefully I'll have got the measurments I need by Saturday and can finish this CAD and carry on with the bodging.

A little more today. I reworked the front holes to take one of the main parts of the new design, a 10mm divider plate..:

    God I love Cobalt :p

    Right CAD done!

Here is what the project should look like when finished!

( I know that the res or the mobo tray aren't drawn in - all part of my plans.)

I hope to start cutting tommorrow!

Righty ho, lets get this train going again..

I've been oh so very busy this year, but I'm now 'over the top' of that peak, so its time to carry on with this project. First thing was to re-build the MK2 res. Not much different from MK2, just higher detailed rasters, and better threads on the back panel mount. All of those little scratches are on the plastic cover sheet of the acrylic.. Its all glued up now, all I need is to get the three holes on the back tapped up for take G1/4" threads...

Tommorrow I hope to start the radiator mount...

I was hoping to have had an update by now, but someone somewhere doesn't want me too I finished designing the new res, and finished all the files for the case that need to be laser cut, but alas, my school, and the server where these files are kept have closed thanks to swine flu....

This isn't dead, its just on Tamiflu. These are some examples of what the people making my res can do
