I never tried anything higher then 3.6ghz on my Q6600.... i may do so one day soon, but from 3.6-4.0 is not a heck of a lot of difference in performance.

Although it would be faster per say and load things a little faster and benchmarks a little better, but again overall it is not that much better.

Its just numbers after 3.6ghz.

Now if i can get 5.0-6.0ghz out of my Q6600 prime STABLE and Linoack too .... i'd be a millionare as many would buy it.... lol

Conclusion = 3.6ghz is good enough

Anything over 3.0ghz is being wasted anyways as not much utilizes any ghz over 3.0
