    Hmm windows Vista does not need driver at installing time and its werid the updates will corrupt raid unless it is not a proper driver.

    Make sure to note what drriver update it was and don't install it again and if you can find out what it is can you post it here so others don't download it.

    As for you raid being toasts i would say so ... thats its corrupted now ... use Bart PE and backup what you need .. and format and reinstall OS all over again.

    Vista tries to give my network adapters new drivers and they actually bork my up so, I wouldn't doubt that any.

    Was running 901 bios, reinstalled with 1201 and it kept hanging, even in IDE mode

    Flashed to 803 and worked right off Hmmm Haven't pinned it down, too many variables

    I'm gun shy of Raid now, going to just use acronis for a while

    You almost have the same setup as me and I have been having this issue but, I will see if it still persist today as I am getting two new bios today that are preflashed to 1103.
