Big.Wayne, those readings where made only with my Q6600 G0 @ 3600 ( 65nm ).
Of course each MB could have diferent readings. Also diferent type of CPU's can do that but I don't think so. I think it's a MB "thing".
One thing I tested was with 3 or 4 diferent bios and all gave me the same values.
Try vPLL=1.52v on your machine. If it is still stable them let it stay 1.52v
I don't recommend Auto values on any voltage setting of the P5Q Deluxe.

I have had some issues with bios 1103, the main one being after a failed overclock, it sometimes resets the bios to defaults, as if I cleared the CMOS. I found this really irritating, and when asus removed the bios from the main website the first time (indicating a problem with it) I flashed back to 0803 and have not had any issues since.
I also measured the voltages with my DMM using both 0610, 0803 and 1103 bioses, and found no difference between them in the real voltages produced. I found the vNB overvolted by 0.01 - 0.02v, and the vdimm overvolted by 0.09v. However something that has not yet been mentioned, is that I found the memory voltage droops a lot under load. So if I set 1.96v in bios, I get 2.05v real idle and under load it droops to 1.99v.
However this is ameliorated by setting voltages higher, such that if I set 2.10v in bios, I get 2.12v idle and 2.13v load. Also setting 2.08v in bios results in 2.10v idle and 2.11v load. I am still experimenting with it and when I get it all figured I'll post a table.
So far I'm at 4005 MHz @ 1.304v load, DDR1112 @ 5-5-5-15 @ 1.96v (bios), using PL8, Clock Twister Light and 1.20v vNB.

I still don't see it listed as a official released bios only on their FTP = Beta still... Anyhu ... i will wait for ppls test results ... i just hate flashing now again and have to Test all over again with Orthos prime and such, but yeah maybe 1201 is better then 1103, but who knows.

Here is screen shot just before stopping Orthos which i just took this morning at 6:44am.
Also not sure why, but Orthos states it is at 4050mhz.. lol
I stopped Orthos .. as i say she is good enough. I usually do 8-10 hours of orthos (when ever i OC) and i have never had any issues afterwards, but one never knows as you can prime for 24hrs and still have issues later on, but 8-10hrs is ideal for daily usage and or 24/7 usage.
Temps were decent, but i must inspect The Thermal Paste and heatsink mounting .. as it appears at times ... 2 cores are 8-10C higher then the other 2 ... cores 0-1 is 8-10C higher when OCing then cores 2-3, but at idle they are only 1-2C difference.
Idle right now is 33-32-28-30

Here is my near final results with my ram and bios 1103. 1133mhz, 1.98v, SRC and MemOC charger enabled, PL7/Stronger. PL6 will not boot with or without SRC or MemOC charger. The only thing I can think to do is try and tighten some of the timings maybe, any suggestions.

Thanks for the Q6600 setting Leeghoofd. I can't boot into Vista at 9x400 with these settings, so I'm wondering how much can I safely boost PLL, VTT, and NBCore to try? I'm running 9x380 right now and that seems okay. Also you mentioned GTL but you have that on Auto, so I'm a bit confused...

Yeah but he is planning on using 4870x2, i think there is a good chance that card will use enough bandwidth to be effected by going from 16x to 8x but obviously this will need to be tested. Saying that though, it would also mean pci 1.1 would also effect it when using 4870x2 but again obviously this needs to be testedOriginally Posted by RejZor

Well i figured i run this program now to see if i am actually 100% stable as i just ran Orthos for 11 hrs last night/this morning... post is above and it never errored out, but if you read in this theard ppl who primed 10 hours or so .. ran linkpack and was not stable.
IntelBurnTest
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=197835
Ok this program gets Cores HOTTER then Orthos Prime.
I need to figure out why 2 of my cores always read 10C higher then the other 2.
Linpack 0-1 Cores 84C and 2-3 Cores 74C Max.
Orthos = 0-1 Cores 74C and 2-3 Cores 64C Max. (Were talking like 2-3 instances of 3 secs of a Max of 74C)
Here is my test results just done 15 min ago and all is OK Residual result numbers 5 passes all same.
Also ppl read the read me text ... only use what free memory is available to use.

Bios 1103 was quite buggy for me , no wonder they pull it out of their website, now my bios chip seems corrupted and wont hold the overclocks anymore , i reflashed like 5 times to 0704,0803 and all the same i think the bios chips are going bad

Can anyone help?

Hmm i am sure others in here can help you, but i only have Q6600 at 3.6ghz right now .... 4,0ghz on Q9450 is capable, but not all will do so and do so 100% stable.
As for what Volst and such i can't say for sure, but ppl in this thread and forum and other threads in this forum have done so... maybe to a quick search through the forum for Q9450 Overclocking and see what you find.

I have hit 590 FSB with only 1.304v (load) and vNB = 1.26v (although this was not stable but I don't want to abuse my CPU)
Nice, try to pull in tRFC, I'm stable at 1112 MHz 5-5-5-15, tRFC = 30
I have had no issue downgrading to 0803 from 1103.
Try restoring the bios with the initial bios that is contained in the second bios chip, then step back up to the bios you want to use.
Also ensure your system is at stock settings when you flash (obviously).
