So in essence if the bolts were reversed and went upwards instead of down and were 1-2cm longer then there would be no need to take the motherboard out of the case to install a water block, as then the SAME mounting screws can be used
Nice one Although if your on water you'll generally fit NB waterblock at same time you fitted CPU backplate/mounting rods, before mounting board in case.
