    Project: Rocketfish In Dark Water

First I don't have intention to create a worklog for these project, But I realize I should share the idea so Other could learn

and also to gain so room for improvement of design.

Here it is my rocketfish came around 2nd week of july

    Disassembled:

first mod was the top panel

:to created a blowhole for triple radiator

I used aluminum tape to protect the surface during cutting

the result was not good enough

Tried to fit the side panel

then I make the divider to separate the lower part

its very hard to find aluminum sheet here in UAE so I have to use a thin GI sheet

another part of the design is to fit a 480's raditor on the lower part
to do this I must flipped the psu(same in the dual psu design).

so I enlarged the the psu slot

I'll use my new asus striker formula which I got from rma replacement of striker xtreme

so I tried to hooked it up on air only the cpu dipped in water

@ first i used my lapped e6600 and two 9800 gtx

too bad after working 12 hrs sli stopped working and I found out 2nd card are having artifacts

so I registered the card and claim for an RMA on EVGA.com and I found out their customer support suxxxxxxx!!!
they did not accept my rma application just because the card is bought in ebay.

    another lemon on the run

So I have to accept it
that I bought a wrong brand of cards
    Shame to EVGA

I installed the MOtherboard block set and have it leak tested

after leak test I laid the parts and think their arrangements

until now Im still thinking how I can show up those raptor x I like to see them in action on the window panel

    divider also pre installed

I tried also the mcw6500 with meanwell 320 but it consumes a hell of electricity. I still prefer dtek or ek supreme

    Back to the case

I cut a slot on the motherboard tray for wire management

also the divider was cut for the radiator and air vent on the top

    480's and psu pre installed

2 ek 150 res was hold down by velcro tie down

installed a thermo sensor on ek res

I need to get my hands on one of these Rocketfish cases.

    A few questions:
Your cuts are very clean! What tools are you cutting w/?
That midplate is SWEET. How did you mesh the horizontal part?
Whats the plan for the HDDs?

Looks fantastic! Sorry to hear about your ebay/evga experience. Your attention to detail and planning are inspiring. Keep it up! I bet it took a ton of patience to get all that gear out there.

I think he has a bracket for it after enlarging the slot and was just demonstrating clearance/layout. His pic:

lmfao they wont RMA cause it has been bought from eBay?What that has to do with anything? If guarantee time is left even a day they gotta RMA if you got the receipt.Dont matter if you bought it from normal PC store,eBay or a man who sells camels for a living.
Anyways to the worklog itself, looking nice.Gonna keep my eye on this log.Nice job with cutting also!
