I think the main features will be the ACC (advanced phenom oc) and the sideport memory to boost the 3DMark numbers.

Much more interesting for me (as I'm looking for a good HTPC mainboard) is in the short article on page 25 of the german printed ct-mag from monday.

"more 3D performance (compared to 780G)"
    "Crossfire support"
    "sideport memory"
    "no hybrid power (like nvidia)"
    "ACC"
    "SB750: Raid 5"

but most important for me: "By chipset optimizations AMD said to have reduced the power consumption of 790GX boards compared to 780G."

Does the RS780D offer Hybrid CFX with all AMD cards now? So also with a HD 4870? Not to 'boost' performance, more thinking about powering it down when not needed like nVidia's 780a solution

Yeah i've been hoping for that feature as well. I could care less about Crossfire with an IGP. I'm sure it's not going to work well with a lot of games.
Seems we made our greatest error when we named it at the start
for though we called it "Human Nature" - it was cancer of the heart
