I just heard it comes with your choice of a Panda Fur or Lion mane covered backplate. This is the reason for the delay...having trouble finding enough pandas to meet the initial release stock.

Now then where's this block....???? I've got a useless Thermaltake Big Water745 waterblock at the moment, so I really need something better, I was going to get a Swiftech Apogee GTX, when I found out that there was this new GTZ about to be released.... so I'm not going to buy the GTX now that the GTZ is so imminent, but if there's no AM2<< (mounting kit)
- with it, or available as anoptional purchase, then I'm going tohave to re-plan.... waiting...waiting...ever so patiently...!!!! C'mon.....arrghghhhh...!!!!....sorry...!! ... MMoooo!!!

Huh ?
Its people like you who are too serious to take a joke.
If you were logical enough to check my sig, 80% of the water cooling parts I own is swiftech brand (I even buy only swiftech branded ddc's) I love my swiftech parts and I reccomend them to everyone I advise on watercooling. Swiftech is a great company but this thread is feeling a bit empty so I tried to lighten the mood.
Well it needed injecting with a bit of coluour I thought...LOL.
May as well have some fun while we're all waiting for news... and it keeps the thread active.... as well...
Hopefully it'll catch Gabe's eye when hes got enough time, and he'll post soem solid info....!!!!
THen we can all have asome
and who knows what might happen then....

Well done kazgirl, you just brightened up my day!
That should catch Gabe's eye no probs![]()
If this block really would perform a solid 2-3 degrees better than what's out there now, that would be pretty amazing to me. If you look at the thermal performance of the top few blocks available now, the differences are kind of hard to even measure.
IMO we can't expect huge temperature improvements until CNT-blocks or something like that come along. Until then, a block with good flow, temperatures as good as the best, an appealing design and a competitive price is an excellent block in my book.
Not that I wouldn't love to be proven wrong.![]()
