Some teams managed to pick better CPUs but then again, everyone was on the same line when we started so I guess no one has complains. It was a great competition and thanks to all other teams!
You and Pete were great guys!
Very happy to meet you guys and everyone!

My head hurts... it really, really hurts - 36 hours with no sleep, lots of alcohol and a plane trip home

Finally home and feeling utterly destroyed but was fun spending the large majority of the time drunk and messing about with everyone

My camera was taken back to Aus by my colleague Nick so I'll get the photos in the next day or two when I get a chance to catch up with him and will post then

Cheers to everyone for a great couple of days and a wild experience. No doubt the stories and happenings of the event (and of the evenings) will filter out with pics to match. Thanks for the crazy times

    Team.AU not so great 'sucksess'
    8M hampered by a 5.5GHz chip (compared to some 5.8GHz+ ppl) - 3 points
    3D'01 hampered by a bugged install - 0 points
    Vantage reasonable - 20 points

2nd day Team.AU + Portugal for some SLI '01 (bugged) and Vantage (ran out of time) fun

All in all it was a load of fun, and extremely tiring for all who joined us for our 4am drinking sessions both competition nights.

Everybody and See you again next time.
It was an immense honor to meet you and duck-san.

And absolutely amazing to watch both of you overclocking. Everyone sees Team Japan's unreachable results on the forums, but let me tell you guys first hand, Team Japan is the real deal. cal-san and duck-san booted in at 5700MHz in a matter of minutes with LN2 cooling on both CPU and northbridge, and then proceeded to calmly tweak and even defrag and repair their hard drive many times at that speed. 5.7GHz was like running stock for them.

Imagine my shock when it took them only seconds subsequently to fire up setFSB, set 5.9GHz, then 6.0GHz, then 6.18 and then 6.2+, all in the snap of a finger. duck-san seemed a little disappointed when his first try of PiFast at a cool 6242MHz errored out. FUGGER has pics of multiple runs they made at 6.27, and even 6.3GHz and beyond.

I was standing there drooling in disbelief the whole time, felt like my eyes couldn't have been telling me the truth, but they were.

The ln2 replenishment while Gautam, Jmax, and FUGGER replenish with ln2 instead of me, and a detailed temperature that how survives is managed means the interruption of the bench.

Team Japan expresses gratitude to all the people who helped while challenging in the second day

It was great meeting all new and old friends in the community with a lot of interesting conversations.

A special thanks to Giorgioprimo, Sampsa and SF3D for the great combined effort during the second day.
