I would be interested to see more results of these chips or stepping at around 1.35~1.4v.

I think that was the first article posted. :S

What about this thing's price? About $300? I would sell my E8400 and get one if it were $200, but I don't feel like wasting money for an extra 150MHz.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

It's the 10x multi that's sweet. And I think it will be $266 retail after the dust settles.

Since the quads are just 2 duals, I would think that eventually the stepping would follow.

    Me: No why?
Friend: My PSU just blew up, I think the second 8800GTX might have been too much for it to handle
Me: what PSU was that again?
    Friend: Antec 480w

Nothing at all, I want one, but I prefer to wait until September-October and get a Nehalem combo: CPU+mobo+DDR3. A 4GHz Wolfdale is already very good

I had a different experience... Back then with P3's and Athlon XP's, sometimes when I forgot to put on the heatsink, the CPU would *fry*. I'd smell the fried silicon--it actually had burn marks on it.
After 10 years of pushing the voltage to the max, I have yet to see a CPU die due to overvoltage. Been running some chips at an insane 0.3-0.4 extra volts for like 2 years or so. Should I let you do the math, or should I do it myself?
