    Cooler for 3870x2, 2xZalman VF-900 is a good option?

    I go to buy one HD3870x2 and looking for one cooler, 2xZalman VF900 is a good option?
    Cooler stock of the 3870x2 is good? It compensates change it for 2xZalman vf900?

    could you write it again ? I'm not really sure if I can understand....

    I suppose you want to know if there are any aftermarket coolers for 3870x2. Well I'm not sure but you can use 2x Zalman vf700 or vf900
    Pentax k10d and a backpack of lenses...

    just 2 zalmans wont do it there are other parts on the card that need additional cooling.

    Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I'm looking for a solution for my loud 3870x2's right now. I know that in this picture, the chip with the blue arrow needs cooled well. Would a simple BGA ramsink do the trick? Does the chip in between the GPUs need a heatsink?

    Wow, that's quite an interesting design. I do believe that simple memory heatsinks will do perfectly fine. But make sure you cool all those mini chips. Last thing you want is overheating...
