OC Report: Chaintech Apogee GT PC8500 2x2 GB

It's high time to start a new topic here Because of holidays don't think that I stopped testing ram all day all night

This time I checked not so popular manufacture - Walton Chaintech (maybe you remember motherboards, graphic cards etc. ?). He changed directory and moved to RAM market.

About Apogee GT PC8500 2x2 GB:

Specification:
PC8500 (1066 MHz DDR)
2.1v 5-5-5-1 (TRFC52 from SPD)
6-layer PCB
Radiators almost like Dominators

Sorry for bad quality of pictures but I set bad settings via Irfan View and it overwrote original files and I don't have this set at home now to do new pictures...

C2D E6400
Pentagram 1050W
Seagate 7200.10 320 GB SATAII
HD2900 PRO Sapphire
Cooled by L/C
Windows Vista


And... TWO pairs of Apogee GT PC8500 2x2 GB, 4x2 GB run also!

Results:



First pair of Apogee PC8500 GT 2x2 GB / 2.3v



Second pair / 2.2v



Two pairs connected totally 4x2 GB = 8GB / 2.3v

They are based on Promos ICS. Very nice memory, they scales up to 2.3v.

Conclusions:

Those Apogee GT are amazing pieces of RAM They overclock really nicely and fly on every motherboard which I own Radiators are good (the same as in Corsair RAMs), they are good looking and are elegant. Red label with Apogee fits those black aluminium radiators
