briton sux big time. our law system is a joke. steal a car, ram a police officer, write off public and police cars, endanger lives and you'll get community service. yes thats right no prison sentance. its a joke

the police are a bit helpless in many a aspect. they should be given the tolerance thing the american police enjoy. also give tougher sentances like in america.

our youths are out of control. no respect, stab you for a difference of opinion, vandalise. omg the list goes on. they do what they like and go off on one when they cant get their own way. you only need watch episodes of ROAD WARS, NIGHT COPS and STREET WARS to see what i mean.

Now you see what happens when these kids KNOW that the person they are stabbing, beating up or harassing can never take one step back and draw a 44 mag and blow their ass into next week!
You should come to New Hampshire..Very little crime as the thieves and crooks KNOW that over 70% of the adult males over 21 own firearms.
Probably over 40% of the adult females also.
Go to a shooting range up here on a weekend and the person beside you is as likely to be female as male..
No, you do not tease them if they miss a shot and you suspect it is "that time of the month"

issue over here is 80% of officers arent armed with lethal force, cs gas or a tazer at best. plus the cops have little power in many things. this makes for youths being big headed, mouthing off etc.

firearms are illegal here. truth is they are getting away with it and if they do stab someone they are looking at only 6 to 10 years in prison if they get done in court, many brits will tell you that loads get away with lack of evidence. and whatever sentance they get, they typically serve less than half and are out on "tag" if they show good behaviour.

if you cant do the time, dont do the crime is not a statement here. our justice system is a joke. last week a guy that killed a young girl for dangerous driving had 6 months in prison, he was released after 4 months. justice? hello?

I understand and you have my sympathy.
Had that girl been my daughter when that SOB was released he'd have never enjoyed another night on this planet..
    Then you have justice.
When the government doesn't dole out justice it is time for the citizens to handle it.

    agreed

he should be "made a cripple" to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair thinking about what he did. consequence means little to criminals over here. many joy riders steal cars and entice the cops to chase them. if they caught they wont goto jail, just made to do a 100 hours or so community service.

also recently on the bbc news was an elderly woman killed for just a small amount of change in her own home. the guy got a small prison sentance (cant remember). was put that his addication made him do it so sentace was lighter. makes you sick.

burns, the way you made that post(in regards to the eight year old) made me laugh, sounds like the justice over there sucks, i guess in some states now if you get 3 sentances you go to prision for the rest of your life, but in regards to the original post, i believe Maddox has the answer: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=beat

uk needs tougher sentancing. if you want to get shocked just browse bbc and sky news sites and see how lightly punished criminals are.

just sprung to mind, recently a drug dealer caught with loads of stuff was given a tough sentance of a supervision order for 12 months and made to do 200 hours community service. think it was on road wars or cops with cameras. with such a "harsh" punishment, they are bemused as to why so many people risk commiting crimes. uk sux

I am glad I do not have this problem, my little sisters worship my computer. It provides them access to Webkins and Club Penguin. They are 8 and 9.

Just trying to search such a thing is proving to be difficult, new title for topic [How to punish brother for unplugging power cord]

Come to TEXAS!!! This is a total shooter state. If you see someone robbing your neighbors house, you can go out and blow that M-F'er away with 12gauge and you wont be charged with a crime!!!

This just recently was proven. Some old boy saw two guys cleaning out his neighbors house, called the police, but since they werent in any hurry to show up he told the 911 dispatcher that "you hear the shotgun clicking? I'm going...*long pause* YOUR DEAD! *BAM!! BAM!!*" and he went out and blasted them both..TO DEATH!!! ALL CHARGES DROPPED.

Boy that info was old. As am I. Currently my kids have taken over my desktops. They are both sporting matching GTX1080's. Last Christmas I got everyone Oculuses and thus GTX1080's. My eldest is some sort of CSGO champion gold label something or other. Me I work and shoot real guns. Build Comps as needed.

I agree with your earlier assessments and opinions regarding the need for tougher law enforcement and sentencing there though for a non-violent, victimless drug offense, even dealing, a year is more than plenty if you ask me.

If you ask me.. and you shouldnt, we need more capital punishment. And, more resons for it. I personally agree with the old west style of justice (vigilantism) hehe. You steal a horse... you should hang for it. period.

By todays standards it would be... you steal a car...you should hang for it. period.

But to get on topic. If your brother is unpluging your comp.... next time he does it... jump on top of him and beat the ever loving F*** out of that little piece of SH**!!! And then see if he ever does it again. I can garontee he wont do it again any time soon.

Some say i'm harsh. But a good "education" is everlasting. He only continues to do it because as far as I can see he has'nt had a reason to stop. Give him one!

    Simple solution.

If he wants 2 unplug it so badly. Next time he does it, shove it up his ass. Then he can unplug it as much as he wants.

But in all reality you could probably just epoxy the plug into the PSU and no1 can take it off.

Yea but if you beat his arse, he will learn a lesson that can be invaluable later in life. Especially when he gets older and people are going to be LESS tollerent of that type of behavior.

Wow, this thread has taken on a life of it's own!

I like the epoxy-in-the-socket idea. Might go with silicone though - more flexible and impossible to crack by wiggling it back and forth.

To activate you pull a string and this personal atttack alarm goes off, with a strobe light and a blasting 116db alarm. Attach this alarm to your case and this strig to the cord. When pulled, AAHHHH!
