I see that nice find man. It doesn't say does it. I wonder if since I'm on 1102 am I on newer one or? The because of the new option in this one will it cause issues going to the 1003 one?

    ok will do that.
What volts do use now for vcore and vtt ?

Don't use the 1003 IMO bcause I just tried and I lost my raid controller screen and it was saying hard drive in the boot order screen instead of the raid I have and I couldn't boot. I went back to 1102 now and I am fine again on my 3.8GHz. Here are my voltage settings.

    CPU Voltage: 1.26250
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (0/2): .635
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (1/3): .635
    CPU PLL Voltage: 1.56
    FSB Termination Voltage: 1.32
    DRAM Voltage: 2.02
    NB Voltage: 1.28
    NB GTL Reference: auto
    SBridge Voltage: 1.20
    PCIE SATA Voltage: 1.60

by the way do you use acpi 2.0 mode and AHCI mode ? I run sata ide+no acpi 2
what about NB remmaping or something like that, do I need it or not ?

Hey guys, I canīt take my Mushkin Redline over 1000Mhz, any try failing Super Pi after few seconds. Iīve been playing with skews (delay 150), vdimm (tried till 2.2V), vNB, higher PL...I donīt know what more to do. Iīd like to put them at least at 1066. Any tip? Thanks

Is it just me, or is "DRAM Command Rate" non-existent in the BIOS? (I'm on 0803 right now)

Also, where do you guys find beta BIOSes for this board?

P.S.: I did notice ASUS posted up a new BIOS on their site, 1003, but I saw many many people getting problems with it, so I did not flash it. I'm still on 0803.

not sure that i have the same problem as you but i could not get it stabile on 475FSB. Only Vcore makes my setup more stabile....

Yea, same here, just with high Vcore I can get stability at 500 FSB, Iīm talking about 1.4V +

ok guys I just found out that when OV_CPU & OV_NB disabled system won't boot even with voltages below 1.7v like 1.33v for instance. Once changed to enabled able to oc again to 3.8ghz.
Well I guess I'm going to put more vcore then. Can anyone verify that load line calibration puts more voltage than needed? For example, I set vcore to 1.33v with load line calibration I get 1.35v

Pmp's quote : This option affects FSB signal, and it's here due to Intel recommendation. Basically it affects OC margin for upcoming, cheap Q8200. It _may_ enhance a little typical Yorkfields/Wolfdales as well.
Optimized setting enable/disable Compatible or Performance modes depends on CPU uCode.

It overvolts a bit over the bios setting...

Think you guys are more CPU limited then mobo/setting limited here... if you need as much Vcore to get anywhere... it's the CPU surpassing it's sweetspot... I have the same with one Xeon 3310, fine at 3.8ghz at 1.16Vcore (under load) but once over 4ghz I need almost 1.3volts to get it anywhere stable... CPU is capping out on me due to high temps... same mobo does 500FSB daily with an E8400@4ghz... only hardware change is the CPU... Will keep the Xeon at 3.6Ghz at 1.1 volts....

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

    Hi Leeghoofd,

Unfortunately there is no way I can lower PLL and FSB term. voltage if I want to run stable at FSB444.
The only setting that I could lower was the DRAM voltage, and I need 2.02v.
Anything below that value will cause Prime Blend to fail.
I've tried changing memory timings like you suggested but it seems that I've hit a wall at FSB444 / RAM 1066MHz.

Now I'm running with the following settings, and still trying to lower FSB term. voltage.
Since I'm at 4GHz CPU clock, I don't know if I should try lowering CPU PLL with FSB400...

Gskills and Mushkins do 1081 daily with 450FSB) Also the board overvolts the ram so be carefull there you are going for 2.15Volts?

Rusty back down to 450FSB, hardly think it's mobo related... what are ya coretemps ? have you tried playing with one setting at a time ? most Q9450 users seem to need 1.6PLL and pretty high FSB Term voltage for 3.8Ghz ops... you can try to get with 6 multi as high FSB as you can... but I really think you got a mediocre performing CPU...

    Hi Leeghoofd,

Now I'm running with the following settings, and still trying to lower FSB term. voltage.
Since I'm at 4GHz CPU clock, I don't know if I should try lowering CPU PLL with FSB400...

    AI Overclock tuner: MANUAL
    CPU Ratio Setting: 10
    FSB Frequency: 400
FSB Strap to North Bridge: AUTO
PCI-E Frequency: 103 (101 will cause my display driver to stop sometimes)
    DRAM Frequency: DDR2-1066
    DRAM Timing Control: MANUAL

    1st Information :
    CAS# Latency: 5
    DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay: 5
    DRAM RAS# Precharge: 5
DRAM RAS# Activate to Precharge: 15
    RAS# to RAS# Delay : AUTO
Row Refresh Cycle Time: AUTO --> 55
    Write Recovery Time: AUTO
    Read to Precharge Time: AUTO

    DRAM Static Read Control: Enabled
    DRAM Read Training: Disabled
    MEM. OC Charger: Disabled
    AI Clock Twister: Strong
    AI Transaction Booster: MANUAL
    COMMON PERFORMANCE LEVEL: 07
    PULL-INS: 1&3 Enabled

    CPU Voltage: 1.41250
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (0/2): Auto
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (1/3): Auto
    CPU PLL Voltage: 1.56
    FSB Termination Voltage: 1.28
    DRAM Voltage: 2.02
    NB Voltage: 1.26
    NB GTL Reference: AUTO
    SBridge Voltage: AUTO
    PCIE SATA Voltage: AUTO

What do you think about this setup?
Thank again for your precious help.
Looking good man, I never run static read control on, had too many issue with it... can you run an everest Ram bandwith test on this setup... wanna see the difference with my more moderate tweaks... this is my 24/7 setup :

    DRAM Static Read Control: Disabled
    DRAM Read Training: AUTO
    MEM. OC Charger: AUTO
    AI Clock Twister: Moderate
    AI Transaction Booster: MANUAL
    COMMON PERFORMANCE LEVEL: 08
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

    here :>

I prefer load temps rusty, do the cores go over 60-65°C ?
