I don't recall them getting much over 60 under full load......... They are at 40C right now.

60c on the NB full load?
there is where your problem is, I would look at lowering the temps alot

That will likely involve some wonderful disassembly, as the fan I have on my RAM IS hitting the NB........

Have you reseated the NB with AS5 or Ceramique?
It lowerd my temps alot and I would recommend the extra effort if you have not done it yet, it is well worth the time.
