    It's very hard to not see past the friends-first policy here, a lot of the 'little' countries are left out once again and most of the competitors are already sponsored in some way

    lol, nice planning. Asus just forgot to invite people from the biggest European countries.

    Is there a link to the official list? I would love to have some solid facts to write an article about this event.

    And why on earth isn't the name of the event "Asus Overclocking competition 2008"?

    Does it say somewhere that this event is a competition between different countries? Afaik there are just people invited from all over the world and they happen to live in different countries..

    Aren't No_name and joe_cool attending? I thought they were.

    Probably VR-Zone has exclusive rights to report about this event which might be the reason why nobody heard about it in Germany. Hopefully they post a lot of pictures =)

    Yeah they do. You can check the lalst years event coverage under Overclocking @ VR-ZONE.

    Its gonna be a bigger meet this time with lot many new faces from around the world for AOCC.
