Very strange. I am running two E5420's all right, but they are an exactly matched pair. Don't remember now but I think the box was gray saying server computing..
must be pics of both the CPUs and boxes somewhere around this forum.

I do hope my new 5440's will run in the mobo, I'll better check before I buy another one for them.
