    Nice!...I love the fatboy barbs, they are by far my favorite still.

    Anyhow, both my regular XSPC top and restop had good threading in the barbs. My restop is now running my CPU loop, works and looks fine. I think some of the threading issues could be resolved simply by using shorter threaded barbs like the fatboys or regular DD highflow barbs. It seems like most of the complaints come from someone using the longer threaded barbs like D-Tek or EK barbs which have something like 7mm of thread length.

    EXACTLY my thoughts

    as about the tightening i first tighten it as much as it goes by hand and then use a wrench (with some tape on both sides to avoid crashes on those beautiful barbs ) I dont tighten it much. just do it..you will know exactly when to stop..i dont remember exactly but i THINK 1 cycle after the hand tightening is good enough..
