No one really has an answer for this, but there is no reason you can't sell your current board and upgrade to an affordable P45 based board. That's what I'm doing, and I'll only be running an HD4870. There are hardly any articles out there that compare single card results on PCI-e 1.0/1.1 vs PCI-e 2.0, but I read one where the 9800GX2 started to get choked at 1920X1200+ resolution with AA/AF, but only on certain games.Originally Posted by chaos_being
