You could have at elast posted a 1M :P:

I have been using Biostar boards for quite a while now and they were really nice bang for the buck mainboards with some BIOS glitches, but nodody believed me

You can PM me about bugs that have to / can be fixed and I will forward them to the engineers.

Did you try to get a higher FSB with a lower multiplier and less voltage?

Edit: One more thing: Youngpro said there is a OVP at about 1.8V which does not seem to be the case on your board.

freak they are really bad at 1M efficiency
i saw no point as i was still in 8 second range even at 5.8GHz lol

i will bench LN2 tomorrow most likely again so i will have some results to post

    that's not true
OVP did not even kick it at 1.92v for me
but when you do select high volts you have to do it gradually

i usually select a bios preset first and then i select slightly higher volts and then 1.88 or 1.92

that is plenty of volts for most ppl to use

Can't wait to see your 32M run

How long did you have with your NB before condensation started kicking in?

I have been thinking about trying your method.....

i think board weirdness showed up in an hour or so

i was learning the CPU as to what cold it likes keeping it at -100C or so for the 5.7GHz test

but the board was a bit weird

next session no more LN2 on NB as it didn't gain any results

just a fan blowing over it

i am hoping i can repeat some clocks between 5.8-5.9 and my CPU didn't cold bug down to -140C yet so still to find out where the cold bug limit is (boot is at -100C heheh)

Well it was worth a shot.

Mine lose 1M stability at 645~650 but will scale up to 670 before it craps out(or try to grab screenie )

Single core does not help in my case at all.

For some reason I feel my ram is holding me back as it has never seen below 2.5v in it's long abused life

I have another pair and will see what happens. So dam hot out this time of year, thought maybe the NB was holding me back due to heat issues.

    LN2 this weekend hopefully.

    Heh! . . . . amazing results there dinos22!

I don't follow the Xtreme clocking scene that much now but somebody in the UK just told me you are clocking a Core2Duo at 6GHz so I had to come see!

I want one of this chips!
