Congrats Dinos I'm glad that you found a decent E8500 after so many that you tested
    Now it's time for 8M WR ...

Neither do I When you first hear it it's like : " Hey cut the crap man ! "
Then you see it with your own eyes and it's like : " You big fat-a(r)ss faker, no way biostar can do that ! "
    But unfortunately it is true
There is a sentence I thought I would never say ... Biostar ftw ...

In one of the last ( few ) benching sessions I forgot to insulate a area which would get really cold for sure ( the reason why I forgot to insulate that area was because I was trash-talking about Aussie's cheating in SuperPi with my cousin ) and when I noticed that, there was lots of water floating around that area ( thank God I insulate nearly 100% of my boards PCB ) ) I continued benching, and left it there for a while until I managed to grab a towel

T_M 1M efficiency is absolutely terrible with this board
    i'm talking about 46.6-46.8K PP

    i won't even bother

but 8M and 32M are pretty fast...one of the fastest boards around for 32m

i did a 32M run when i booted to windows first time and clocked to 5.7GHz and with task manager/no tweaks and stuff i got 8m33s......that's pretty fast and with tweaked runs and tightened timings this will just rock

i am going to try for around 5850MHz or so 32M on my next go and try to get 8m1xs times i hope

    we'll see

611 fsb 32M pass is very nice on biostar.

    An 9800GX2 or 4870X2 would run awesome with this board, since P45 only have 1 x 16x pci-e or 2 x 8/8x pci-e config.

Any single card 3D 01 or 05 runs planned ?

    I see, but surely a 7.800s @ 6000MHz is still worth doing?

Fantastic results. I guess the BIOS:626 is a beta since I only see one released on 6/20 on the Biostar website. Just curious if and how the new bios helped ... and if you might have a link to it.

Pt1t and youngpro have direct contact to engineers
they have already shared other bioses online but i don't know the links...i'm sure if you search you will find them

the thing that changed for me is unlinked VTT and VNB volts which was very important

aside fromt that OC capability has not changed
