i tried CPU-Multi @ 12x and FSB @ 240 = 2.88Gz but crashed prime

Well the good thing about k10 is that your ram speed stays
at whatever you set it at,and does not change with different multi's .It will increase as the HTT (fsb) speed is increased,
so you could try setting your RAM to a lower divide (DDR400/533) and slowly increase the HTT(fsb).
Keep in mind thou that you're in the area (mhz) where Voltage increase is a "must".
Also many people with 9850be get stuck in the same or lower
mhz "area".
