Good i found this thread......
I got the same board about a week ago, needless to say, it won't let me budge an inch.
The C1E BIOS appears to be an uncompleted testing BIOS for the board.
Well, the DK P35-T2RS Suffered simillard problems when it was released, i hope that in a week or so we will see a new NORMAL bios instead of this lame joke.
I seriously doubt DFI would release a board that can't even handl 450mhz FSB easily.
Hell, even the P35 Bloodiron does that no sweat!
I had the TpowerI45 for a week. I needed to find a modified bios (not available from Biostar, got it from rebelshavenforums.com, bios 620) just to run a 9800GTX. Once I finally got that issue resolved other problems appeared. Getting the high FSB under more "normal" conditions was a challange. By normal I mean water cooling rather than LN2/dice/etc., lower FSB/NB voltages, and both cores enabled. I couldn't get 550FSB no matter what I did. And I was using a chip that I know is capable of 575FSB at least. It could have been this particular board and I believe that with Bios updates the board will be much better but that is no different than the Asus/Gigabyte/DFI P45 boards. My suggestion: unless you plan on trying for the 700+ FSB a very few people are getting I would go with an x48 chipset board. Certainly more expensive but much more user friendly IMHO.
