Yeah, Im liking it more stable, more working straps and dividers... keeper for me

Even though, with 151 and 204, 266 strap worked att 500fsb, but maybe that just was a misstake? it prolly shouldnt handle 500fsb..
so maybe it just was a "fault".

OK, my system passed 1 hour OCCT with DDR@1600Mhz.
And with the same settigns it also passed 2 passes of memtest86 3.4a.
Can i call the system stabel with these settings?

I am gonna do some further OC's this weekend.
What should i use for a quick stability test when oc'ing?
I cant wait for 4-8 hours of prime,.....

well 1hr of OCCT MIX are a great thing to do...

for a FAST, usable stable setting, to see if it even are an idea of keeping it, use Super-pi 32m, testing the ram quite well...
if it passes that, then use OCCT for an 30 mins to an hour.

    regards.

Well sauria, 10mbit are not bad... had it before i moved here, and its good, but this is better, 10mbit were on ADSL.
this 100mbit are on Fiber....pining 0-30ms all over the world more or less hehe... great for games.

Edit: nah god 4mbyte sek from texas, 700kbs up 300ms ....not bad hehe.

YES! I have this board and cooler. It will fit in either direction also, as in having the fan blowing out the back or out the top of your case.

i don't see disabled option. how???
also is it true that in 45nm cpu's we have to put it always disabled?

thank you my friend! be well!!!

a shame that such board pricy , we customers can't use LLC without any issues

Gave up that X48 as my main rig and went back to P35 who made me so happy , particurlarly P5K blackpearl .

too tired to play with and searching for stability as those last days were nightmares with random crashes ,freezes when booting etc .

definitively POS for me and finally asus express gate not so useful .

don't know donster , but this board is too messy , and I suspect asus to send " chosen ones" for reviews .

Kris Boughton from anandtech said he found stability with just " 1.35" on NB

how come when people down here are all with higher voltages to get stability ....

2 reviews talked about less voltage values for X48 vs other chipsets ( X38 / P 35 ) but my own experience with the same chip and X48 and P35 show me something different ....

this board doesn't worth its price .

    overated .

My advice is new graphic card are to come , and ati 's ones look very promising ( 4870 specially )

Take a good P35 board if you don't need sli and wait for Nehalem to show if you want some DDR3.

I actually don't wanna spend lot of bucks for graphic card and dual gpu depend on too much factors to get them work ( drivers specially ) doesn't worth it IMO.

with ati/nvidia roadmap , expect to see lot of choice for yor needs .

    I personaly wait for 4870 X2 benches and then I decide which to pick .so I don't need 2 x 16 pci-e

Nvidia sucks with their prices . See people who paid full price for 9800s and then prices went down with 60€ cheaper than less than 2 months !!

you can try X48 though but at your risks ...
