    Sorry uncleweb, but it looks like 2.66 does not fix the core swap bug for me.

    The following image shows RT 2.66 on the left and CoreTemp on the right. Both show the core swap bug, both are in agreement, and RT is apparently not adjusting for the bug. When I test the sensors, I do not see a message stating the core bug was taken into account.



    On rebooting, the core swap bug suddenly goes away (which is typical), the temperatures suddenly make sense and both RT and CoreTemp temps are still in agreement.



    When I reboot again the swap bug returns.

    When the bug is not present, running Prime95 with affinity favoring specific cpus has predictable results. When the bug is in effect, running the same tests on single cores produces skewed results.

    Keep up the good work, uncleweb! And, let me know if I can provide any details you may need. I'd love to see this problem solved.
