Here are my two XFX 8800 Ultra XXX (685M). They were both ordered as consecutive products (I wanted serials close to one another), and as XFX 8800 Ultra XXX (675M) products, but I got (685M) versions instead. They both cost me ~2560 USD, with current exchange value between DKK and USD. The price was 6285 DDK at the time per card + shipment.

I would have purchased a third one, if it wasn't for the fact that these beauties are no longer possible to be bought. XFX AFAIK, made these cards the most powerful aircooled cards on the planet, and they still are in effect just that.

Before these, I had two standard (575M) GTX also from XFX. They cost 5130 DDK each then, back in december '06. The Ultras was purchased in June '07, if memory is correct.

(if the pictures are too big, then I'll correct it at any notice to do so)

My RMA 8800GTS "Alpha Dog Edition" - It's hard to beat XFX for warranty support. They are very nice people and you know what's going on every step of the way by ongoing messages.

    ^HAHAH!

Im not so sure the warranty covers extreme abuse... But they sure should make an exception for XS members.

Here's my current XFX product... notice the red team graphics cards cast aside in my eagerness to hook it up.

Here it is in its new home on my "all air benching" Xeon e3110 system.

The card was transported poorly and spent a long flight in a backpack rubbing against another card. Plus the HSF was not attached with screws.

Are we placing bets? I think that fight is a little one sided.

I am going to have to go with the 8400GS... It totally beats the 9800GTX on power consumption. We were talking about that right?
