    Pictures/Review of Gigabyte HD4850

    First look:

I'll start with the pictures: (click to see larger ones)

    - All the boxes i recieved

    - The 4850 box inside

    - Front of the card

    - Rear side of the card

    - Gigabyte 4850 vs Gigabyte 3870 front

    - Gigabyte 4850 vs Gigabyte 3870 back

    - All of the cards

    - On my bench-rigg, installing windows atm

As you can see, i have Gigabyte 4850, 3870 and 9800GX2.
The rigg this is supposed to be tested on - is a GB X48, E8500 and the "normal stuff". No hardcore cooling to start with, trying to locate some DICEpots

    Results:
    3Dmark 06:

    - 1280x1024

    - 1920x1200

    - Pixel shader

    Crysis (DX9):

    - 1280x1024

    - 1680x1050

    - 1900x1200

    - 2560x1600

    Crysis (DX10):

    - 1280x1024

    - 1680x1050

    - 1900x1200

Looks very nice, lots of power for the bucks with those.

Looks forward to benches with CF against the 9800GX2.

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Am i the only one here having trouble with the 177.35 and 177.39 drivers + 9800GX2?

The .39 just fukkd it all up, lagging like a cow.
The .35 corrupts my windows when running Crysis at 2560x1600, High DX9

    *sighs*
