    Smile Asus Maximus 2 Formula P45: 670MHz FSB with E8500 !!!

I become from Asus France one Maximus 2 Formula last week

    It's my picture

First, I test with my E8500 and my E8400 the FSB with watercooling (same as aircool).
I was surpsised when I saw tha I reached 640Mhz on screen, and be able to do SuperPi 1M at 625Mhz.
I just give 1.42V to the NorthBridge, because more will decrease my FSB.

Then, I put my E8500 under my 2-Stages (made by Skrims-Fr).
In the first run, I reach 660*8 with my E8500. But, in touching CPU GTL, I just get 670MHz FSB !!!

    Amazing isn't it ?

Asus ROG was really not the best to get high FSB, but this Maximus 2 Formula prove that Asus is still working on it

I am still blown away by the fsb levels from P45's couple of threads here with some awesome fsb levels. Will anyone hit 700mhz?

    Thanks all

This motherboard is really impressive and really easy to clock.
vFSB, vPLL, vSB are set in the defaut setting to get 660, the vNB was 1.42V.
To hit 670, I need to play with the GTL and vFSB
