Simply put otherwise, no.We shall see.
GT200 uses a special method for fast verification of shader logic- verify 1 cluster, then duplicate all over the chip.
They are not going to change the cluster configuration at all. Either its 240 or 264... etc.
OTOH looks like the 4850 CF is going to roll up, roll down, and repeatedly smear the GTX 260 to something akin to marshmallows chewed.
Interesting, perhaps the number is incorrect. We shall see.

sounds like a logical enuf guess however....like exactly what nv have been doing over the past months with refreshes...I'll prolly wait for the GT-200b, 256SP (vs 240 for GTX280), 55nm, good possibility of higher clocks, Q3 2008.
not really enuf to justify upgrading to, just enuf to whack a different label on, and probly reduce production costs aswell.
