I think I know how you got ahold of it.

I want them to focus on performance and minimal foot print, screw UI.

What's the problem with UAC? It's 3 clicks to turn it off.

Part 2 Photos are Now Online. Click here.

Also, The 3Dmark06 score is alot better then Vista SP1. Remember, On this Benchmark, I'm running my 8800GTX at stock speeds.

Yes, It is. Normally I would get 13-14secs on it. Look at how fast it is right there.

Also, I added some pictures of Windows Media Player. I noticed it does not have the default codecs. So I can't play MP3s, WMV, WMA, And such.

Do you know how to check for a detailed memory footprint in Win7?

I have heard conflicting rumors about the so called "MinWin" kernel. First it was in. Then it was out. Now it seems to be unconfirmed out. As in most people think it's out but aren't quite as sure of it as they used to be. OTOH, your version doesn't sound very "min" to me. I would still be using Windows 2000 if Asus would continue to offer motherboard drivers for it. I will stick with XP until a killer DX10 only game is released. XP SP3 is bloated enough as it is (although SP0 was sleeker than 2000), but Vista is just crazy with bloat.

Someone already posted about your Question I do believe. And No, I don't think it's using MinWin. The What MinWin is, Stripped down Vista Kernel that could run the minimalist things.

Only if you know how, searching takes whole minute.

Imagine that you have to work on someone else's machine. Twice a week. And even though knowing admin password, you're not allowed to turn UAC off. I've been working like this for several months.
